Second version of a mockup of what I imagined Doctor Who's google doodle would be like next year (for his 50th birthday) Doctor Who is the longest-running sci-fi show ever (since 1963) and a British icon so I think it would be appropriate to have a google doodle on that day, at least in the UK.
I switched the colour of the 'g' and the 'l' to keep the blue TARDIS.
Since the original version, I changed the hue of the blue a little which is closer to the real colour. The window tiles are now black with white frames, as Matt Smith's TARDIS is like that. I added shadows and revamped the lamp as well as improving the handle and lock. Finally, I also added the St. John Ambulance sticker. The 'e' also now has a slightly translucent background.
Done in Inkscape.
For those not familiar with the show, the letters are Gallifreyan (from Gallifrey, the doctor's home planet) and are taken from his crib. They supposedly spell out his real name, so I thought it would be cool to use his name to create the actual doodle.
